I started at 18 with one of the best plumbers I've ever met. He took me under his wing and taught me to take pride in compression fittings and a clean basement. After a few years on his crew I moved to one of the bigger Chicagoland companies, learned how a real business runs, and built the relationships that eventually pushed me to start my own.
Got my master's license at 26. Started The Water Heater Guys not long after. These days I run it out of Campton Hills, IL where I'm raising my family, and I'm still the one writing the quote, doing the install, and meeting the village inspector when they swing by.
